  6. You may produce copies of Dialog Editor 1.0 only under the terms of the section
  7. entitled "Limited License To Copy The Software".

  9. You may use Dialog Editor 1.0 on a thirty (30) day trial basis only. If
  10. you use Dialog Editor 1.0 past the 30 day evaluation period you are required to
  11. pay a registration fee.
  12.  
  13. Limited Warranty

  15. The Author does not warrant that the licensed software will meet your
  16. requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted
  17. or error free. There is no warranty either implied or expressed.

  19. Limitation Of Liability

  21. The Author is not responsible or liable in any way for problems or damage
  22. caused by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed
  23. software. This includes, but is not limited to: computer hardware, software,
  24. operating systems, and any computer or computing accessories. End user
  25. agrees to hold The Author harmless for any problems arising from the use of
  26. the software.

  28. Limited License To Copy The Software

  30. You are granted a limited license to copy Dialog Editor 1.0 ONLY FOR THE TRIAL
  31. USE OF OTHERS, subject to the terms of the license agreement described
  32. herein, and that the conditions described below are met.

  34. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by anyone for
  35. distribution of this program, except a minimal fee for diskettes.
  36.  
  37. Public Domain Disk Vendors MAY NOT CHARGE a fee for Dialog Editor 1.0 itself.
  38. However, you may include Dialog Editor 1.0 on a diskette/CD-ROM for which you
  39. charge a nominal distribution fee. The purchaser of said media must be
  40. informed that the fee paid to acquire the software does NOT relieve said
  41. purchaser from paying the Registration Fee for Dialog Editor 1.0 if said
  42. purchaser uses Dialog Editor 1.0 beyond the 30 day trial period.

  44. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (SysOps) may post Dialog
  45. Editor 1.0 for downloading by their users without written permission ONLY SO
  46. LONG AS THE ABOVE CONDITIONS ARE MET. A fee may be charged for access to
  47. the BBS AS LONG AS NO SPECIFIC FEE IS CHARGED FOR DOWNLOADING Dialog Editor 1.0
  48. files.

  50. Evaluation and Registration
  51. ---------------------------
  52. This is not free software. This license allows you to use this software
  53. for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 30 days. If you
  54. continue using this software after the 30 day evaluation period a
  55. registration fee is required. If you DO NOT want to use the software after the 30 day
  56. period, you must delete all distribution files from your computer.  See the file
  57. ORDER.TXT for information.
